ESMA panel discussion @ EcoPrint 2012: 10 Steps to become more sustainable

ESMA will organise two sessions of 90 minutes with 60 minutes presentations, followed by a 30 minutes panel discussion on the 26th September 2012 during the EcoPrint show at Berlin, Germany. The 10 step programme will be built in cooperation with ESMA members based on experience and know-how.

The ESMA Certification labels! ESMA Endorsed supplier label and the ESMA Certification Label will be announced at the EcoPrint Show in Berlin on the 26-27 September. In a first stage, labels will be based on self regulation.
The next Certification Study Group meeting will take place on the 10th August at the premises of Reed Exhibition in Düsseldorf. Please contact us if you would like to get involved: info@esma.com.

ESMA’s 1st workshop 8 November: 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing

newsletterlogo3dJoin this 3D printing and Additive Manufacturing workshop on the 8th November 2012 in Liege, Belgium at the premises of Sirris, a company with leading expertise on 3D printing. Three different technologies based on 3D printing with plastic and with metal will be explained and showed in their labs. Sirris will demonstrate aerosol printing, a recent print technology for different materials. We organise two half- day sessions available for groups of maximum 40 people; prices are €75 for members, €125 for non-members (prices excl. VAT).

Printed electronics: challenges & opportunities

newsletterlogope2012The first Symposium on Printed Electronics, challenges and opportunities will take place on the 27th of November 2012 in Brussels, Belgium.  After attending this Symposium, printers, designers and ordering customers will have a better idea of what is Printed Electronics; where to apply it; what is possible now and in the near future, where to get available materials and how to adapt existing technology, or invest in specific technologies.
General theme of this Symposium will be an introduction to the emerging markets and applications of Printed Electronics as interactive packaging, wearable and stretchable electronics on textile and medical patches, the internet of things (sensors, memories and printable RFID), interactive cards and toys.

Advanced Functional & Industrial Printing

newsletterlogoafipIn recognition of its importance on the global printing events calendar, ESMA is pleased to announce that the Advanced Functional & Industrial Printing event will return to Düsseldorf on 6-7 March 2013. Expert speakers will offer printers, OEMS and Tier 1 suppliers a series of presentations covering the best practices, as well as offering an invaluable insight into the latest technologies available. Applications to be covered include automotive, film insert moulding, nameplate, fascia, printed electronics, circuit, label and solar cell technologies. In addition, carefully selected keynote presentations will complement the technical programme.
AFIP will be supported by PEPSO, Printed Electronic Product and Solutions section which support Glasstec, drupa, compamed, K-messe, interpac…of Messe Düsseldorf!
