Advanced Functional & Industrial Printing

afipOrganised by ESMA, Advanced Functional & Industrial Printing 2013 (AFIP) will take place in Düsseldorf on 6-7 March. During the two-day conference, 20 high-level technical presentations will cover innovative possibilities and potential applications with screen and digital printing.

Applications will cover different markets such as consumer goods, automotive and medical, as well as industrial areas including film insert moulding (FIM / IMD), printed electronics and functional printing. The table top exhibition is also an interesting part of the conference with over 25 exhibitors.

FESPA CHINA & CSGIA 2013: 18th - 20th November

ESMA would like to give you a most challenging opportunity to exhibit your products during this exhibition. The launch of FESPA CHINA & CSGIA 2013 – being staged at the Shanghai World Expo Centre – is 2013 It is a most successful exhibition for the Screen Printing Community since 1983 and the last event bought 18,000 Visitors.

This will be a joint collaboration between FESPA and CSGIA with on going support from ASGA
You can take this opportunity to expose by a low investment representation in the form of a share ESMA pavilion. The concept could be a concept of some small info booths for the member exhibitors and a larger ESMA Lounge for meetings (also neutral meeting place) and properly staffed with Chinese translators as could do well for your image.

FESPA Eurasia Istanbul 2013: 3 – 5 October As you see, next year will be a year full opportunities again!!  FESPA Eurasia 2013 is set to be the regions showcase event for: Wide Format Digital Printing ; Signage and Displays ; Screen Printing ; Garment Decoration.
More than 8,000 professionals from the Eurasian region, which includes both the Middle East and the emerging markets in Central Asia will visit the exhibition; located alongside the ATATURK international airport.

Application Committee Meeting in Lyon (France): 6th February from 10.00-14.00

salon-cprint-200The APP committee promotes the strengths and in particular newest innovations of screen, digital, and pad printing to users of these technologies whether they be traditional or industrial. One of its accomplishments is GlassPrint: an Industry event to promote the specialist technologies for glass.

HSEP committee in Paris, 18th April: 50th celebration meeting + on 19th April Regulatory Update Seminar

The HSEP committee represents members' interests by negotiating with suppliers and regulatory bodies (eg European Commission) on a wide range of health, safety and environmental issues. Also, this committee wishes to act as a centralized source of information on best practice and regulations regarding health, safety and environmental protection.
We received the first Esma Approved Supplier inscription.

On the 18th will be launched the Sustainability Committee and HSEP Meeting. On the 19th April will be organized a Regulatory Update Seminar. The seminar is open for members and non-members. This is a payable event but will show interesting information on latest topics concerning heath, safety & environmental protection subjects but will invite also speaker to give new inside on ecology & sustainability for screen and digital printing!

ESMA is proud to present you their newest workgroup: Printed Interior Decoration supported by Thomas Poetz

ESMA will start with this workgroup for members and non members on the 5th of March. Meeting is organized at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia- Düsseldorf from 15:00-18:00. As this subject (which is a mainly a digital printing oriented subject) is becoming extremely important because it can use all advantages of large format digital printing on different substrates. By promoting these printing applications and solutions within the world of decoration, we will enter a very lucrative market which is not really aware nowadays about all applications and potentials spread amongst the printers.

Our final targets & goals are a conference in Frankfurt March 2014 which has 3 main directions for Printed Interior Decoration, build up networking events with architects, interior designers, stand builders, decorators, office builders  and the creation of a website with a relationship between applications (materials) and the print suppliers and the manufacturer suppliers. ESMA Pavilion Printed Electronics Europe at IdtechEx

idtechexIn 2013, IdTechEX has another Printed Electronics Europe in Berlin 17 & 18 April. We are negotiating a special deal for a small pavilion of ESMA members. If you have interest let us know. Typical sizes of booths are 3x2 or 6x2.
The exhibition has been extremely successful in the last couple of years!

Glasstec, 22-27 October, Düsseldorf

glasstecAt the next Glasstec Exhibition, Düsseldorf, ESMA has created a 365 square meter technology pavilion featuring 12 members promoting glass decoration. The pavilion will highlight screen printing and the latest developments in decoration techniques. The pavilion has 3 islands, showcasing the following members: Fimor, Fotec, Heidelberger Coating AW, Isimat, KIWO, Machines Dubuit, MacTac, Remco, Saati, Sefar, SunChemical, Tiflex.

The pavilion will be a centre of competence introducing you to a wide variety of solutions for screen printing on flat or hollow glass and exhibiting all necessary equipment and consumables for screen printing. For the first time, MacTac is exhibiting its variety of vinyl techniques for glass decoration at Glasstec. ESMA members are always welcome for a drink!
