ESMA European Quality Label
In difficult economic times, European manufacturers stand out for the higher quality of the products they provide, with strong commitment and respect for the environment and workers. Many have already invested in ISO 9000 certification which measures the efficiency of a quality system. As customers face an increased variety of offering worldwide, how to distinguish the best supplier(s) specific to their needs in the specialist printing branch?
ESMA is investigating the creation of its own “quality label” or “award level” for members. This aims to help manufacturers be recognized as “World Class” suppliers in respect to R&D, service and respect for the environment as well as other factors to be defined. A complete project will be developed during the coming months and will be presented to members for approval.

SGIA 2011 The original plan to cooperate with SGIA for an ESMA pavilion has been cancelled due to members who prefer to go with their local distributor. However, ESMA is strengthening its relationships with SGIA for the future.
