The Inkjet Conference 2015 - Inkjet Engineering and Inkjet Chemistry

theIJC-LR300

A record-breaking attendance of over 300 people at The Inkjet Conference 2014 makes this the largest event in the ESMA calander and there are plans to grow the event for 2015.
Bring together speakers from industry and research and delegates from equipment manufactures and brand owners there was an excitement as to what had been achieved with the technology and the future possibilities.
The profitability of digital manufacturing has touched many industries and as inkjet is enabled it is going to touch many more.
Inkjet is not just another print process – it changes the production model and the business model – its effects are far reaching and properly integrated changes the economics of business.
But back to basics, The Inkjet Conference covers the wide gamut of engineering and chemistry required to implement the technology: from analytical laboratory equipment for the formulation and analysis of ink; through the software, electronics and mechanics for the equipment manufacture; to the scientific research powering the future.
92% of respondents have confirmed they intend to participate in The Inkjet Conference 2015 with a further 3% indicating maybe they will attend.

The inkjet conference 2015 plans to build on the strength of the 2014 event. Feedback has indicated a strong demand for technical papers on inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry, there is also a requirement for understanding of how digital technology impacts the whole production process.
The academic track, will be strengthened by a scientific board, representatives of the key industries will be available for peer review of papers and feedback and support on various topics.

The Inkjet Course

A foundation course in Inkjet Engining engineering and inkjet chemistry: Supported by TheIJC.com and ESMA

As many new applications continue to adopt inkjet as the core technology, the University of Western Switzerland in Fribourg aims to address the skills shortage with a foundation course in inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry.

A five day hands on lab based course will see small groups of students become familiar with basic fluid measurements and modifications whilst working towards building a prototype inkjet printer.

The first course is open to anybody involved in inkjet; whether from a chemistry background looking to understand printheads and printing, of from an engineering background looking to understand machine and ink. This course aims to take experts in their field and broader there knowledge of inkjet across the many disciplines required. This is a practical hands on course with a focus on lab work and experimentation, students will have access to both the chemistry lab and the inkjet lab and over the course of the week be involved in all aspects of inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry.
