B2B Social Media - myth vs reality (Maurizio Fantato 4CM)

30th-Anniversary-logo_webAfter the internet 2.0 that started a few years ago, the influence of social networks has brought more opportunities especially for the business world. It all started with Plaxo, LinkedIn  and now Twitter, Facebook, Google+ bring on new opportunities.

The article from Maurizio Fantato:
There has been a lot of noise in many marketing communication quarters about the need for B2B (Business to Business) organisations to engage in the social media arena.  At 4CM we regularly come across clients who are either interested in exploring these new channels,  putting in place the appropriate strategy, or simply want to know more about the topic. Business to Consumer (B2C) marketers have been active in the social media arena for a while now, but there is still a lot of confusion when it comes to B2B operations. To reflect the event’s increased importance, there are 50% more technical presentations than in 2009 as well as keynote speeches from FEVE, Glass for Europe and Bundesverband Glasindustrie.
There is a record number of exhibitors, if you’re still considering having a table-top or if you want to book as a delegate (online booking), all information is available on www.glassprint.org

Application Committee invites Speciality Printers!

To broaden our members we would like to invite speciality printers (screen and digital) during the ESMA application meeting from 16.00 to 18.00.  A number of items (similar to the online survey) will be discussed, such as: benefits from an ESMA membership, preferred events, market certification, quality issues, market visibility, and a closer relationship with the European manufacturer’s members of ESMA.
This small summit explores all potential benefits of such an expansion to our association.

Sportswear & Fashion T-shirt Printing conference

New ESMA Printer Survey Call for action! In order to provide you with the very best industry information and knowledge, we would like you all to get involved in our survey. The goal is to have a closer interaction with the printers (digital and screen) with different application knowledge from graphics to industrial applications. Therefore please provide us with 5 contact details of printers (companies). New contacts will receive excellent opportunities from ESMA such as taking part at our group sessions, work shops, participation in projects and reductions to events of ESMA. Viscom Germany (13-15 October 2011)

viscom2011ESMA has been offered several participating options for the Viscom show.
Some suggestions:

  • Open ESMA Forum about Color Management (digital printing maybe also screen)
  • Textile Summit Workhop on individual printing tends innovation in relationship to the upcoming conference of Sportswear & Fashion T-shirt printing.

Without generating costs for our members, the idea is to create exposure of  a full workflow. Members can show their products and provide technological content of this application on the show.

All initiatives and cooperation are welcome. This is an ideal opportunity for manufacturers to have additional show access besides their own dealers or distributors. We will have designated rooms and floor space on the show! Viscom Germany will take care of all promotional activities.

ESMA is working on an excellent deal for members to receive special rates for participants at all Viscom shows in Europe in the near future (direct or indirect participation).
